Problem

Inventory sync is failing with the error message:

Error updating Inventory

Error Updating Inventory for product XXYYZZ

eBay said: Inventory-based listing management is not currently supported by this tool. Please refer to the tool used to create this listing.

Solution

These inventory records were created using the old Ebay API or website. Ebay does not allow listing created in this way to be modified by Extensiv Integration Manager using their current API.

1. Find which application created your Ebay inventory and have them migrate it to the new Ebay Inventory API.
   
2. If you are unable to find which application has locked your inventory, Ebay recommends creating a brand new listing.
