For each job in Extensiv Integration Manager you can customize how frequently Integration Manager will communicate with that system. Whenever available, we recommend you select Automatic which will communicate as soon as data is available. This is the default when available.

Here is a list of jobs that need to be scheduled when setting up Integration Manager:

Automatic Schedule

The Automatic schedule option tells Integration Manager to transmit the data as soon as possible. In general you can expect a 1-2 minute delay between Integration Manager receiving the data and passing it to the next system.

Automatic Schedule Drawbacks

  1. Batch Size: The Automatic schedule runs as soon as possible even if there is only a single record to transmit. If you want you data batched into larger updates, you may want to choose a less frequent schedule

  2. Retries: The automatic schedule does not immediately retry if a record fails. The record will be retried when the service is triggered again by a new record. The automatic schedule also has two cleanup runs per day where it will retry any failed records. These two cleanup runs are randomly scheduled.
