Intro to Barcode Scanners

Extensiv Warehouse Manager has the ability to be used with a variety of different handheld scanners. Handheld barcode scanners are the best way to increase speed and accuracy in the warehouse.

Handheld barcode scanners utilize 1d laser barcode scanners for Code 128 or UPC barcodes, or 2d imaging technology for QR codes or Datamatrix barcodes.

There are a couple of factors to consider when deciding which scan gun is the right one for you:

• Will you be reading 1d or 2d barcodes?
• How far away are your barcodes? Standard or long range scanner?
• Does the scanner need to be portable? WiFi vs. wired.
