Wifi Setup

• Click the Settings Icon at the bottom of the home screen on device
• Turn on WiFi if not enabled already
• Tap the WiFi section of the settings list
• You should see a list of available wireless networks in range. Tap on the one that you’d like to connect to.
• Enter WiFi password (if applicable)
• The wireless network in the list should now say ‘connected’ underneath. If not, please verify your WiFi password/
   

Downloading / Installing Warehouse Manager App

• Open the web browser on the device and navigate to dl.scoutsft.com
• Click the Android App APK Download Link
• In the upper left-hand corner of the screen, swipe down the down arrow icon (downloads icon). Alternatively, navigate to the downloads section in the apps list on the device
• Tap on ‘scoutSplashScreen.apk’ file
• You will be prompted with a ‘Do you want to install this application?’ message. Click Install at the bottom of the page
• The Warehouse Manager app should now be available in your apps list. You can tap and hold the app icon to drag it to the desktop
   

Required Settings Changes

• Click the Settings Icon at the bottom of the home screen on device
• Scroll to the bottom of the settings list and tap Scanner Settings
• Tap on Wedge
• Ensure the following settings are checked:
  • Enable Keyboard Wedge
  • Uncheck Keyboard wedge only on focus
• Tap back to Scanner Settings main page
• Tap Notification section
