Defining Movable Unit Types
Overview
As the name suggests, a Movable Unit (MU) is a single, identifiable unit load that can be easily tracked and moved. Once this feature has been enabled for customers, the types used in the relevant warehouse/s must be defined. Anyone within the database can have access to the defined MU types, as these appear throughout 3PL Warehouse Manager. This article reviews how MU types are defined.
How to Define Movable Unit Types
To add a new MU type to the system,
- Navigate to Admin > Movable Units.
- Click Add, then enter the details for the unit. Please note that while 'Code' is the only required field, we do recommend you review each field and complete those that are necessary.
